KIKO Make Up Milano Eye Shadow Review & Swatches

KIKO Make Up Milano is available only in European countries such as Italy, France and others. I came across this brand when I went to Italy and I must say that they people who can find this item should check it out because the quality is amazing, and its affordable!

 Top to Bottom:
141 Light Pink with Purple Undertones Frosty
102 True Gold Satin
139 Pearly Salmon(Champagne) Shimmer

The Gold colour which is 102 is definitely the best and is as good as Urban Decay newly reformulated eye shadows if not better. It is the most buttery eye shadow I have came across and the pigmentation is wonderful. It is easy to blend and does not require a primer or base to stay on for a long time. The packaging says that it is a long wearing eye shadow that is tested to last up to 12 hours. I don't even use make up that long but I think that during the span of time I wear it, it didn't crease the the colour didn't wear off.
As for the Champagne 139 and 141 Light Pink-Purple both of them are also great but is not as buttery, they are harder and is not as soft even though they are also very pigmented. I guess it's because the gold one has a satin finish that I like it the best.

Overall, I highly recommend these eye shadows from KIKO because they are just absolutely wonderful!

Canmake Moist Souffle Shadow in Brown Swatch

This is the Canmake Moist Souffle Shadow in Brown. First of all I was excited when it first came out because I thought that it would feel great, be pigmented used by itself as a single colour on my lids or would at least serve as a nice base for eye shadow. The packaging is truly cute, but the product is disappointing considering that Canmake is a brand who makes great products. So far, I think the eye products are mostly disappointing unlike the popular lips and cheeks items that I own and absolutely adore,

The product feels like a soggy souffle, but it feels like gel when you blend it out. When you press it, it feels mushy and it's not a nice feeling. The product looks pretty good in the pan but when it is blended out, it loses it's colour and turns super sheer but highly shimmery. Which I don't necessarily like especially since it has almost no colour to it when I blend it out. Below, the spreaded (right) swatch is dabbed on to my hand, if I had swiped it side to side, the brown would blend into my skin.It is not a pigmented product at all and I wouldn't recommend it.
Swatches of the Moist Souffle in Brown

But I do have a way to work with it, If you want the colour to show up, you must lightly pat the colour on to your lids and do not blend it out, just take more colour to make the shape you want and build up the colour. Then, set it with a translucent powder if you want the colour to show up, and also it creases badly if you don't set it. As an eye shadow base, this would not make your eye shadow stay longer, or brighter, it just makes your eye shadow more sparkly. It doesn't crease if you set it with a powder so I guess it could be used.

Overall, I love Canmake but this product just doesn't work for me even though the packaging is cute :P

Shishedo Sun Protection Lotion SPF 50 Review & Swatch

This is named one of the top sunscreens in Sephora and has become really popular over the years. I have been using this sunscreen since I was young when I go swimming because this is what my mother always use.

This sunscreen has a white colour and when photographs are taken, your face would have a grey overcast. Products with SPF never photographs well but some how many beauty gurus in youtube use it as a face primer. I think that it face foundation apply smoother but it is only good if you are not taking pictures.
The texture is kind of runny at the same time sticky and hard to blend out if you put on too much product.
Even though it is unsuitable for photographs, this is still a great sunscreen and I adore it!!

This is also water proof so it would last and prevent my skin from burning when I go swimming. This sunscreen can be used for face and body. The product is really worth the price because it lasts a long time and it has 100ml in it. The packaging is really sleek and I like the way the teal and orange pop!

I love this sunscreen and have been using it for years, I really recommend it :)

Victoria Secret Beauty Rush Shadow Duo in Pink on Earth Review & Swatch

This is from Victoria Secret's, Beauty Rush Shadow Duo in Pink on Earth.

The colour is really pigmented when I scrape the colour and make it into a powder, at first I didn't like this eye shadow because the pigmentation seemed really poor at first when it was still flat in the pan. When I found this method, I grew to like this duo. I wouldn't really use the colours together because the pink is too light to be matched with the dark brown. But used separately, they colours are really pretty and has lots of fine shimmer!

As you can see the price is US $7 and it is really affordable! It contains 2 grams of product and its pretty good sized. What I dislike about the packaging is that it cracks easily, in the picture, you can see that the plastic has chipped and broke off.

Pigmented Swatch when the colours are crushed into powder !!

The product inside is really good and I recommend it to whoever wants a good, pigmented eye shadow duo with an affordable price. For some people, it could be a hassle because you have to crush it into powder to make the colour show though..

TheBalm Plump Your Pucker Lip Gloss in Water My Melon Review & Swatches

This Plump Your Pucker Lip Gloss is from TheBalm. Unlike the Down Boy Blush, I don't really like this.
First of all, it looks really pigmented in the bottle, I chose the brightest colour which is "Water My Melon" when I put it on my lips, it felt super tingly and I know that some plumping glosses are  supposed to feel like that, but this one burns and I can't stand it especially if I have chapped lips, it hurts!

Lip Swatch
Swatch of the gloss

It's kind of sparkly but the gloss's level of stickiness is pretty good, I think that the formula feels good except for the pigmentation and the super tingling feel.  It looks pretty in the bottle but the colour doesn't show. I don't feel like it plumps my lips at all, even though my lips are pretty plump already.

Overall, It the product isn't worth the price and I don't recommend it at all.

BOBBI BROWN Long Wear Cream Shadow Sandy Gold, Metallic Cream Shadow Antique Gold Review & Swatches

These are the BOBBI BROWN Long Wear Cream Shadows!!
First of all, they do stay for a long time, they make eye shadow stay on longer and can be used by itself. The bad thing is that they cannot stay crease-free for a long time if it isn't set with powder. If you want the true colour to show, you can set it lightly with a translucent powder.

These are the swatches I made to proof that they intensify can serve well as an eye base! They don't make the true colour of the eye shadow show, since they are cream shadows with colour and not a colourless eye base. They darken the colour of the eye shadow and makes it pop more :)
They are pretty good so far but not a Holy Grail worthy product.. :)

ZA Cosmetics powder foundation Limited Edition Goes Retropop Case ,Review,Swatch

I got this as soon as it came out!! I 've been wanting to try the ZA powder foundation because it's said to be the "No.1 selling foundation for 13 years"..
This is the limited edition "Retropop" edition and for SGD33.50 it's really worth the price and much cheaper than buying them separately, and plus, the limited edition casings are much cuter.

The set included: A Limited Edition Case, 2 Skin Beauty Two-Way Foundation Refills, and a free cute pouch.
The one I got in Jazzy Bubbles is supposed to come with a silver pouch and the Motley Candies is supposed to come with a golden pouch. Since the one in shade 22 only came in Motley Candies, the sales lady changed the case for me :) Thanks to her, I got the really cute Jazzy bubbles case and the gold pouch that I liked better.
I was really impressed by the colour selection range, there are many yellow based and pink based foundation for light to medium skin tones. Since this is targeted towards the Asian market, there aren't as many darker shades but it can still be used as a setting powder  I guess.

Shade 22 suits me perfectly :) The powder is so smooth and it's an amazing foundation!!
Swatch(flash) of the powder foundation, buildable to high coverage if layered and applied with damp sponge!
Maybe the colour looks a bit off because it has SPF 15 and my hand isn't the same shade as my face :P I'm about mac's nc 30 and this blends in my face super well!
Swatch with No Flash, this powder foundation is really good, I like it because it gives me a natural matte finish that has a good coverage. It performs differently when I apply it with different applicators. If I use a powder brush, it could be used as a setting powder.

Overall, I LOVE this product, much more than my Shu Uemura Powder Foundation that made me look so grey!!
